Columbia hit-and-run victim in 'good condition'

COLUMBIA — Nathaniel Bonaparte, 31, was described as being in "good condition" on Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle traveling west bound on U.S. 40 shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bonaparte was listed as a pedestrian in the crash report. The car that struck him left the scene before police arrived.

As of 10 a.m. Sunday, the Missouri State Highway Patrol had not released a description of the vehicle involved in the incident.
