COLUMBIA — Aaron Senne, the Missouri baseball team's senior first baseman, had a great game, but the Tigers were swept by Texas after being beaten 20-11 on Sunday at Taylor Stadium.
Senne, one of the team’s most productive players this season, had three hits, including two home runs and four RBIs in the game.
Senne's performance alone was enough to beat a lot of teams, but Texas was unstoppable. It didn’t matter who was throwing the ball for the Tigers, five Missouri pitchers gave up at least three runs to the Longhorns.
Missouri (27-25, 10-16 in the Big 12) starts play in the Big 12 Conference tournament Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
