Missouri baseball will meet Texas in championship tournament

Missouri will meet top-seeded Texas at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Big 12 Championship tournament at Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City. Missouri ended the regular season last weekend by getting swept by the Longhorns in a three-game series in Columbia.
Missouri is the No. 8 seed in the tournament. The Tigers will face No. 4 seed Texas A&M at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and No. 5 seed Texas Tech at 9 a.m. Saturday to finish out pool play.
The winners of the two pools will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday in the championship game. Missouri is 27-25 on the season and finished with a 10-16 conference record.
