Novus International buys IQF Group

ST. CHARLES — Novus International Inc. has purchased IQF Group, which operates two companies in Mexico and Spain.

Novus, a spinoff of Monsanto and a maker of animal nutrition and feed products, announced the acquisition on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed.

Novus said it has about 600 workers worldwide and will increase to 800 with the acquisition of IQF, which makes products ranging from mineral and vitamin premixes to anti-caking agents.
