COLUMBIA — Parking on Washington Avenue will be restricted until 4 p.m. Friday while the Public Works Street Division marks bike lanes, according to a city news release.

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. the stretch of Washington Avenue from Hickman Avenue to Wilkes Boulevard will be worked on. The news release also requests motorists to not pass the painting equipment or drive over the newly painted lines and to use a different route when possible.
