Columbia man arrested for warrants, methamphetamine possession, creation

COLUMBIA — After a concentrated two-week search, the Boone County Sheriff's Department arrested a Columbia man Friday who had two warrants issued for his arrest.

Travis J. Hall, 30, had a federal warrant for probation violation relating to a weapons-related charges and a state warrant issued for failure to appear in court relating to a possession of a controlled substance charge, according to a news release from the department.

He was arrested in the 700 block of Business Loop 70 without incident. The release said he was in possession of methamphetamine, pseudoephedrine pills, chemicals, oxycodone and morphine.

Hall was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and creation of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $19,000.
