After dropping the first set, Rock Bridge's Sam Johnson and Joe LaRose defeated Liberty 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 to win the state doubles championship Saturday in Springfield, Mo.

It's the third-straight year that a Rock Bridge team has won state doubles.

"It was a big comeback," Bruins coach Ben Loeb said. "Our guys really hung in there. They didn't let little things get them down."

In singles play, Rock Bridge's Ford Zitsch finished third.
