ST. LOUIS — A Boy Scout leader is being credited with coming to the rescue of a woman found tied up in St. Louis' Forest Park.

The man and his family found the woman after 7 a.m. Friday in a creek bed not far from the Muny theater. She is alive but her condition is unknown. Police say it appears she had been attacked and raped. She was partially clothed when she was found.

About 20,000 scouts will be in Forest Park this weekend for ScoutQuest 100 — the 100th anniversary celebration of the Boy Scouts.
