LETTER: Interview the veterans who fly on the Honor Flights

Monday, June 7, 2010 | 3:37 p.m. CDT; updated 12:34 p.m. CDT, Monday, August 26, 2013

This letter is a response to Tom Warhover's column of May 28, "DEAR READER: It's worth noting when World War II vets fly."

Why not choose one or two of the participants and get his or her "story." This would make an interesting public interest story and teach folks a bit about our history (outside textbooks) at the same time.
