Downtown planning charrettes continue with open house, public meetings

COLUMBIA — The public is invited to attend the second round of downtown planning charrettes, hosted by the Columbia Downtown Leadership Council.

St. Louis-based urban planning firm, H3 Studio Inc., will present designs based on brainstorming sessions held last Thursday and Friday.

The charrettes will start Monday and last through June 25. The public may visit an open house from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the Berry Building, 1025 E. Walnut St.

Other public charrette events include:

  • Meeting on plan design options
    Dulany Hall, Columbia College
    Monday, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Open house session about the preliminary preferred plan
    Berry Building, 1025 E. Walnut St.
    Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Meeting on draft preferred plan
    Dulany Hall, Columbia College
    Friday, 4 to 6 p.m.
