Marshalls to move into Circuit City building in Columbia

COLUMBIA — Marshalls, a discount clothing store, will be moving into the vacant Circuit City building at 1901 Bernadette Drive.

The store applied for an interior demolition permit Wednesday morning, according to the Protective Inspection Division of the Columbia Public Works department. The permit should be approved by Monday.

Marshalls has more than 820 stores in 42 states and Puerto Rico, according to the store’s website. The company has 12 stores in Missouri.

Marshalls sells brand name clothes, as well as footwear, accessories and home merchandise.
