Ron and Annette Smull celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Ron and Annette Smull will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 24, 2010, with a reception at Memorial Baptist Church in Columbia.

They were married July 24, 1960, at First Baptist Church in Troy by the Rev. Robert Turner.

Their children are Lori Swetnam, who is married to Tony Swetnam, of Liberty, and Carmen Smull of Roeland Park, Kan. They have two grandchildren, Todd and Allison Swetnam.

Ron is a recently retired member of Brandecker, Smull & Whitworth, where he practiced law for 44 years. He also taught as an adjunct professor at the MU School of Law for 35 years. Annette is a retired teacher who taught in the Columbia Public School district and at Christian Chapel Academy.
