Update: Children involved in College Avenue accident sustained minor injuries

COLUMBIA — Two children involved in a car accident at College Avenue and Locust Street on Wednesday evening sustained minor injuries. 

Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Jill Wieneke said the two children's injuries were minor, not life-threatening, as first reported by Columbia Fire Department Captain Eric Hartman.

Three children were involved in the three-car accident. They were 5 months old, 6 years old and 8 years old, according to a previous Missourian report.
