The winery is the third largest in Missouri and has recently expanded.
The festival has existed since the conception of Les Bourgeois Vineyards in 1985. It’s a family event with a live music, tours, tastings, a homemade wine competition, kids games and a fishing derby. The winery even sets up an area where event-goers can crush their own grapes.
“It’s a celebration of the harvest,” said Tim Weiss, director of sales for Les Bourgeois.
He said the winery is expecting a record harvest this year and said the event is a really fun day for everyone.
