Boat explodes at Lake of the Ozarks, injures St. Louis man

CAMDENTON — A boat exploded at the Lake of the Ozarks, seriously injuring a St. Louis-area man.

The Missouri State Water Patrol reports that 63-year-old Donald Black of Valley Park had finished fueling his boat Saturday morning, when he turned on the ignition and the boat exploded.

The patrol said Black sustained serious injuries and was flown to a hospital in Columbia.
