ST. LOUIS — The National Transportation Safety Board plans to hold a media briefing on the fatal bus crash that killed two people in eastern Missouri.
The briefing is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Louis Marriott West in the Maryville Ballroom, Salon 1.
The NTSB is investigating the pileup that happened Thursday on Interstate 44 about 40 miles west of St. Louis.
The Missouri State Highway patrol says 19-year-old Daniel Schatz's pickup rammed the back of a semi cab. One of two buses carrying St. James high school students hit the pickup, then was pushed on top of it by the other bus.
Schatz and 15-year-old Jessica Brinker of St. James were killed.
Dozens of students were treated for injuries. Most were minor.
