The Judy School might be gone, but classmates gathered to reminisce about the school.

COLUMBIA — The first-ever Judy School Reunion was held at Two Mile Prairie Elementary School Saturday.

The one-room schoolhouse served students in this rural area from 1889 until it was consolidated to form Two Mile Prairie Elementary in 1963.

More than 50 Judy School students, their spouses and children gathered together. Alberta Weaver, 90-year-old former teacher at the Judy School, was the guest of honor.

Memories and old photos were shared among the Judy School students.

Jack Black said he hopes more Judy School students will hear about the reunion and attend next year.
