COLUMBIA — Heritage Academy, a Christian K-12 school in Columbia, welcomes Kathleen Mallory, the school’s new chief administrative officer.

Mallory comes from Chesapeake, Va., and has held positions as headmaster or principal at three Christian schools, according to an announcement on the Heritage Academy website.

She earned her master’s degree in educational administration from Pensacola Christian College. She also has bachelor’s degrees from the University of Toronto and University of New Brunswick, the announcement said.

According to an earlier Missourian article, Isaac Keene was the chief administrative officer as of April 2009.

The 2010-2011 academic calendar for Heritage Academy cites Aug. 23 as the start date for secondary and elementary students. Aug. 25 is the start date for primary students.
