The Columbia Police Department's front desk will be closed for renovations from Aug. 20 to Aug. 27. It will reopen the morning of Aug. 28.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., residents will be directed to the Seventh Street lobby or another location to be determined by signs posted at the lobby doors at Sixth and Walnut streets.

After 5 p.m., residents can come to the lobby at Sixth and Walnut.

Residents can still reach the front desk by calling 874-7652. If interested, people can also use the online reporting feature available on the department's website.
