BOWLING GREEN — A northeast Missouri Amish man accused of sex crimes with five underage girls in two states will go to trial in December.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that a trial date of Dec. 15 was set Monday for 26-year-old Chester A. Mast of Curryville. He is charged in Missouri with two counts of statutory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of sexual misconduct involving a child.

Mast also faces charges in Wisconsin, where he previously lived. The Missouri charges are being prosecuted first.

Authorities say three of the victims were Amish and one had a family relationship with Mast.

Mast was arrested in May and is jailed in Pike County, Mo., on $100,000 cash-only bond.
