ST. LOUIS — A Bank of America branch in St. Louis was robbed on Tuesday, and the FBI says it may be the work of a serial robber responsible for at least two other holdups.

The FBI says the robber might be the same man who held up a Southern Commercial Bank on Aug. 16 and a Regions Bank on Aug. 4. Witness descriptions in all three cases are similar, and in each case, the robber passed a note stating he had a weapon, but the weapon was not shown.
