Tuesday, August 24, 2010 | 4:46 p.m. CDT

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing another man in a quarrel over pizza.

STLtoday.com, the website for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports that 20-year-old Cody Johnson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed criminal action and was sentenced Tuesday.

The fatal shooting of 38-year-old Rueben Green happened in January 2007. He was found dead on the street. Johnson was 16 at the time.

Johnson told the judge he got mad during an argument over pizza, went home and returned with a rifle. He shot Green, who fell to the ground, where Johnson shot him again, this time in the head.
