Starting tailback Derrick Washington suspended indefinitely

Senior tailback Derrick Washington has been suspended indefinitely for disciplinary reasons, team spokesman Chad Moller said this afternoon at Missouri's final scrimmage of the preseason.

Moller gave no indication of what team rule Washington broke or exactly how long the suspension would last. Sophomore tailback Kendial Lawrence will move up to the first team, Moller said.
