Rock Bridge a hit on first day of Great Eight Tournament

COLUMBIA- The Rock Bridge girl’s tennis team opened the Great Eight Tournament Friday with two wins.

Rock Bridge beat Barstow 8-1 in the first round, and ended up sweeping St. Teresa’s Academy in both singles and doubles during semi-finals.

Tomorrow, Rock Bridge (2-0) will take on defending state champs, Ladue, for the championships. 

Doubles start at 9 am, Saturday at Cosmo Park. Competition then moves to Bethel Park for singles.
