COLUMBIA — Police are investigating a reported gunshot fired early Sunday morning at the Gateway at Columbia apartment complex, 3904 Buttonwood Drive, said Sgt. Eric White of the Columbia Police Department.

There are no known injuries at this point in the investigation, White said.

Columbia police received two calls about the disturbance, he said. Just before 3 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a fight in the parking lot of the apartment complex. A second caller reported hearing a gunshot outside.

Representatives of the apartment complex declined comment.
