Rock Bridge girls golf team edged by Helias

After starting the season with two wins in their first three events, the Rock Bridge girls golf team finished second in a three-team event held Thursday afternoon at the Columbia Country Club.

Rock Bridge posted a 187, six strokes behind Helias Catholic's 181. Moberly High School also participated in the event, posting a 256.

The team will get a break this weekend before their schedule continues Tuesday at the Blue Springs South Tournament. The Bruins also have a match with Jefferson City and Hickman on Wednesday.
