Missouri Arts Council to host activities in Columbia

The Missouri Arts Council will be in Columbia from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Gentry Building, 1 S. Seventh St.

The council will make grant information available to prospective and current applicants, meet with community and cultural leaders and provide technical assistance to art organizations.

The arts council also will host a "Creative Kids Family Fun Fest" from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 15 that includes art activities and performances of music, theater and dance.
