Missouri's Aldon Smith has picked up where he left off.

After setting the school record for sacks last season, Smith tallied two sacks and ten tackles, including three for a loss, in Tigers' win against Illinois on Saturday.

His performance earned him recognition Sunday as the defensive player of the week by The Walter Camp Football Foundation.

The defensive end's play was key to holding Illinois scoreless in the second half of the game.
