Columbia College volleyball wins twice in tournament

The Columbia College volleyball team won two games in the Graceland University Invitational Tournament on Friday. The Cougars defeated Mt. Mercy (Iowa) College 25-11, 25-16 and 25-14 in the first game and Judson (Ill.) College 25-17, 25-16, 25-8 in the second game.

The Cougars, who are ranked No. 8 in the NAIA, moved to 6-1 on the season.

Columbia College continues play in the tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday against Grandview (Iowa) College. If the Cougars win that game they will face the winner of Lindenwood (Mo.) University and Indiana Tech at 3:45 p.m.
