MU volleyball falls to Virginia Tech

The Missouri volleyball team lost to Virginia Tech 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 12-25, 22-25) in its final match of the Western Kentucky Invitational.

Missouri struggled returning serves and hit .155 for the match.

The Tigers beat Tennessee Tech and fell to Western Kentucky on Friday. They beat Central Arkansas before falling to Virginia Tech Saturday to finish 2-2 at the tournament. They are now 8-2 on the season.

The Tigers open Big 12 play against Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas on Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
