COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge girls golf team won its match with Kirksville on Thursday at the Columbia Country Club.

The Bruins shot a 176, and Kirksville finished 15 strokes behind at 191.

Morgan Reimler claimed medalist honors for Rock Bridge with a 41, and teammate Meghan Mueller shot a 43.

Only two weeks ago, Rock Bridge posted a 186 at the Columbia Country Club. The improvement did not go unnoticed by Bruins coach Melissa Melahn, who said she was pleased to see her team's progress.

The Bruins have their last head-to-head match of the season Tuesday against Mexico at A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia.
