Columbia College volleyball wins match in UTB tournament

The Columbia College volleyball team defeated Texas Wesleyan University 3-1 in the first day of the University of Texas at Brownsville Invitational. The Cougars are ranked No. 8 in the NAIA and are now 11-1 this season.

Columbia College lost the first game 25-22 but then rebounded with three straight wins (25-15, 25-7, 25-18) to take the match.

The Cougars face Lubbock Christian University (Texas) at 11:00 a.m. and then University of Texas at Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
