COLUMBIA — “GO! GO! GO!” and the sound of water splashing was all one could hear going at the 2010 Boys COMO Invitational on Saturday at the Mizzou Aquatics Center.

A record number of teams competed in this year’s meet, but Rock Bridge and Hickman coach John Hamilton was not too worried about the performance of his teams.

“As long as we have good swimming, the rest will take care of itself,” Hamilton said.

Eric Wetz, a junior at Rock Bridge, placed 4th in the 200 yard IM, while Connor Moore, a junior at Hickman, took 5th in the 100-yard butterfly.

“The meet is not much about times, but place and all about having fun,” Rock Bridge junior Conner John said.

Rock Bridge tied for 6th place with Nixa.
