MU volleyball falls to Texas

COLUMBIA — The Missouri women's volleyball team suffered its second-straight Big 12 Conference defeat Tuesday night, falling 25-27, 25-20, 25-23, 25-21 to No. 12 Texas at the Hearnes Center.
Paola Ampudia had 15 kills and Caitlyn Vann had 18 digs while freshman setter Molly Kreklow racked up 47 assists. Missouri fell to 10-3 and has now lost seven straight regular season matches to the Longhorns, dating back to 2006.
Missouri returns to action at 7 p.m. Saturday when they head to Manhattan, Kan. for a matchup with Kansas State.
