Enrollment up at Missouri colleges

SPRINGFIELD — College enrollment is on the rise at several campuses around Missouri.

Missouri State University said Thursday a record 23,092 students are enrolled this fall. Missouri State has nearly 21,000 students at its main campus in Springfield and more than 2,000 at West Plains.

Southeast Missouri State also announced record enrollment of 11,112. The university says enrollment has risen by more than 3,000 since 1994.

Ozarks Technical Community College set a new record with 13,907 students.
