Damien Davis convicted in Walmart shooting

COLUMBIA — A jury found Damien Davis guilty Thursday night of first degree assault, armed criminal action and attempted first degree robbery of Ken Jacobs.

Davis, 16, will be sentenced when the court reconvenes at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Darrius Davis, 18, pleaded guilty to attempted robbery in August and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection to the same incident, which occurred Dec. 14, 2009.
