Hickman cross-country team turns in strong performance at Hancock Invitational

The Hickman cross-country girls team took 9th with 234 points while the boys team finished 10th with 243 points at the Hancock Invitational on Saturday.

Nicole Mello finished 7th with a time of 28:10 in the girls division and Devin Sander finishing in 9th with a time of 17:07 in the boys division. 


On Thursday, Becca Catz won her division at the Rolla Invitational to lead Hickman in cross-country competition. 

The boys team finished in 5th place with Ethan Zars finishing 9th, Kennett Falls 15th and Cooper Lee 18th. 

The girls team didn't have enough team members to place in the team competition, but they had some strong individual performances. In addition to Catz winning, Danielle Como finished 8th.
