Rock Bridge and Hickman swimming and diving struggle in De Smet Invitational

The men's swimming and diving teams from Rock Bridge finished 5th and the teams from Hickman High School finished 7th at the 7-team De Smet Invitational on Saturday.

Eric Wetz was the top performer for Rock Bridge, finishing 3rd in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.16 and 7th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.73.

Harry Stanton finished 5th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.82.

For Rock Bridge diving, Cristian Head placed 6th in the 1-meter competition with a score of 332.35. 

Grant Hendrix of Hickman finished 4th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.35 and 6th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.57.

Connor Moore was 6th in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:00.76.
