ASHLAND —A trailer home in Ashland caught fire Monday night and again Tuesday morning.

Southern Boone County Fire Protection District crews first responded to the trailer home at 10151 Johnson Cemetery Road at 9:08 p.m. The district was called back to the scene at 5:19 a.m. Tuesday when smoldering embers reignited the fire.

No one was inside the trailer home, which the property owner used for storage, at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported, said Colin Wright, a firefighter paramedic.

Wright was unable to identify the homeowner. The entire trailer home was lost, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
