Columbia College volleyball team improves to 5-0 in AMC play

The Columbia College women’s volleyball team improved to 5-0 in the American Midwest Conference with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-8 victory over Harris-Stowe State on Tuesday in St. Louis.

Before the match, the Cougars' Vesna Trivunovic was named the AMC volleyball player of the week after leading her team in two victories last week. She leads the team with 249 kills and 25 service aces in the past 16 games.

The Cougars (15-2 overall), ranked No. 8 in the NAIA for the fourth consecutive week, play next at 7 p.m. Thursday at home against William Woods.
