Rock Bridge softball defeats Southern Boone

COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge softball team beat Southern Boone 13-3 on Thursday at Rock Bridge.

Bruins junior Lauren Fuller earned a complete game victory, and junior Kelsey Harrington hit a home run in the fourth inning.

Rock Bridge (23-3) earned the top seed at the Class 4, District 9 tournament set to begin next Wednesday at American Legion Field in Jefferson City.

The Bruins will face the winner of a first-round game between No. 4-seed Jefferson City and No. 5-seed Hickman. No. 3-seed Camdenton and No. 6-seed Smith Cotton play in the other first-round game.

The Bruins play next Monday at Warsaw.
