COLUMBIA -- Missouri and No. 8 Oklahoma State scored three times in the first 14 minutes of play and the Cowgirls hold a 2-1 halftime lead at Walton Stadium.
The difference-maker came from Oklahoma State junior midfielder/forward Krista Lopez who knocked in a long pass from across the field from senior forward Katie Richardson in the 14th minute. Minutes earlier the Tigers had evened the score with a goal from senior midfielder Krista Kruse.
Oklahoma State scored its first goal in the 7th minute from sophomore defender Carson Michalowksi.
