MU's Kreklow captures Big 12 rookie honors for third time

COLUMBIA — Freshman setter Molly Kreklow has been named Big 12 Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
In last week’s matches against Kansas and Colorado, Kreklow averaged 13.43 assists per set. She is the Big 12 leader in assists averaging 11.91 per set on the season and is ranked fifth nationally. She is the highest-ranked freshman on the list.
In the match against Kansas, she handed out 50 assists for the second time in her career.
Kreklow and the Tigers will be back in action at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hearnes Center against No. 3 Nebraska.
