Trees show signs of fall

Trees are starting to change their colors for fall along Hinkson Creek Trail on Wednesday.

COLUMBIA — The trees in Rock Bridge State Park and along the Hinkson Creek Trail are displaying telltale signs that fall has arrived in Columbia.

Why are the top photo and the bottom photo of the exact same scene, taken from the same place, just with different toning and the camera turned horizontal?
