BRANSON — Trigger and Bullet will be back in Branson again.

The former stars of Roy Rogers' movies and television shows, whose remains have been preserved by a taxidermist, will be on display at the RFD-TV The Theatre in Branson through Oct. 17.

The Rogers Family operated a show and museum in Branson before the museum closed in December 2009.

The stop is part of a national tour for Trigger "The Golden Palomino" and Bullet "The Wonder Dog" ending with a tribute float in the 2012 Tournament of Roses Parade.

RFD-TV bought the two figures at an auction in July. RFD-TV paid $266,500 for Trigger and $35,000 for Bullet.

The Springfield News-Leader reports that RFD-TV is a 10-year-old cable channel with shows targeted to rural and Western America.
