COLUMBIA – A pickup truck hauling a trailer rolled over at mile marker 124 driving westbound on I-70 Friday afternoon.

The three passengers in the trailer and vehicle, a Nissan Frontier, were transported to University Hospital with unknown injuries. Police would not identify the passengers, and their conditions have not been disclosed.

According to Columbia Police Department Officer Michael Locascio, it appeared the driver lost control of the vehicle, which ran into a ditch.

Boone County and Columbia fire department units were also dispatched to the scene.

A 911 call reported the accident at 3:45 p.m., according to the city of Columbia's 911 dispatch log.
