Missouri volleyball falls in four-set match against Oklahoma

Tigers drop to 11-3 on the season after losing to the Sooners.

The Missouri volleyball team lost to Oklahoma 25-19, 25-27, 25-19, 32-30 on Saturday in Norman, Okla.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 11-3 overall and 3-5 in the Big 12 Conference.

Senior Paola Ampudia led the Tigers with 29 kills, which is a Big 12 four-set high this season. She leads the Tigers with the most kills in a single match. 

The Tigers' defense was also strong, finishing with double-digit digs, including 21 digs from senior Caitlyn Vann.

Molly Kreklow had 49 assists and 13 digs, while Brittney Brimmage assisted on eight of the 13 blocks for the Tigers.

The Tigers' biggest struggle was the errors committed, including 36 attack errors, six block errors, five service errors, five reception errors and a ball handling error. 

The Tigers are scheduled to play next on Wednesday against Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.
