Vince Foley peeks out from the top of temporary scaffolding on Friday at Uprise Bakery. The installation promoted the Citizen Jane Film Festival, a celebration of female filmmakers that first began in October 2008. The festival runs Oct. 15-17, with films showing at Ragtag Cinema and Stephens College.

COLUMBIA — Stephens College's Citizen Jane Film Festival this weekend is kicking off with the screening of "Tiny Furniture" at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Missouri Theater, 203 S. Ninth St.

Built on an earlier film series, the festival began two years ago and was created to represent and celebrate women filmmakers.

The 5:15 p.m. Sunday showing of Debra Granik's "Winter's Bone" has been moved to Windsor Auditorium at Stephens.

The festival will have 23 movies screened at Ragtag Cinema, 10 Hitt St., and at Stephens College, 1200 E. Broadway. Tickets, $8-$10, can be purchased from the Ragtag Box Office.
