Columbia College soccer defeats Missouri Baptist

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College men's soccer team defeated Missouri Baptist 3-0 on Thursday at Owens Stadium.

The Cougars jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half behind goals from Brian Eike and Edgar Reyna, with Reyna’s coming on a penalty kick.

Parker Rawdon tacked on the third goal in the second half. Ken Searles and Matt McKenna shared time in goal in the shutout.

The win moved Columbia College to 5-1 in the American Midwest Conference and to 9-4-1 overall. The Cougars get back to action at 2 p.m. on Saturday when they face Park University.
