Mizzou volleyball swept at Nebraska

The Missouri volleyball team fell to No. 3 Nebraska in three sets on Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.

Paola Ampudia led the Tigers with 10 kills, her 10th consecutive match with double-digit kills. Nebraska hit .392 in the match, while the Tigers hit only .152.

During the first match, Nebraska dominated hitting .433, limiting the Tigers to .033 hitting, leading to Nebraska's 25-13 win.

The Tigers improved in the second set, hitting .290, achieving 15 kills, but fell 25-22.

In the third set, the Tigers trailed 6-0, and could not regain momentum, falling 25-16. 

The Tigers will play next against Kansas at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hearnes Center.
